MARCH.22.2009-MARCH.25.2009

Aaron arrived in seatac airport, Lou and I waited in baggage claim with a aloha sign, people looking at us Hawaii kids like were crazy, hiding from Aaron as he approach us, ask a cute Korean girl to take our pictures of the newly built crew I’m working on, pick up Lou’s car, went to eat PHO, wave goodbye to some random girls, got home around 0200 in the morning, slept for several hours, woke up late, drove to Seattle, apartment hunting, met a guy named Tom( landlord)+(Penis)=(DICK), didn’t get the first apartment we wanted, nor the second, but found the perfect one on Capital Hill, went back home, prepared to move, MOVED!, Living in Seattle, no school yet, people watch, eat out, cook in, enjoy company with girls, enjoyed company with friends, enjoying company with the toilet, exhausted, slept, lost weight, grew taller, met more girls, got some numbers, and even made out with a few of them.

There is more in that week, but Ill have to stop because I’m really hungry and I have to start on the next week after that one.

The cook.

The cook.

Friday! I’m so happy its Friday! One more week till finals. I feel like I’m gonna do good this quarter.

Today was a fun day, I went to Seattle to check out some apartments. Have I ever told you guys I really hate looking for apartments. As the day went on, I found none that fit in our price range. So after a long day of walking up and down hills, I decided to head back home. On the way home, I stop at this Korean market me and Chris used to go to, we used to buy those yummy mo-chi ice cream balls. Instead of ice cream, I bought some curry powder.

are you all can guess, my dinner was curry. I’m a chef!!!

Welcome back

2009!! time sure is flying for me to even notice these days. As you all know, I haven’t written any blogs for the last few months. I’ll let you guys all in to what I’ve been plotting.

I’m currently attending Tacoma community college, its my last quarter. So far, it seems like all “A’s” for the quarter.  This week, my main goal is to find an apartment for me and the guys to live in. Hopefully I find one, I really hate looking for apartments alone. So wish me luck.

As for life, I’ve been dating girls. Nothing to serious.  I’m not looking for a relationships right now.

I like to play chess.

I like to skate.

I like to enjoy a moment of pure bliss.

oh, you guys can thank Marksori for me blogging again. I promise him that I will. Promise kept.

Alright guys, I wish you all a good night sleep.

oh here is to the memories!!

頂樓: The loft.

Home? For the last six years, I’ve lived on my own. I’ve lived on warships, barracks, tents, dirty holes, and even a submarine. I’ve traveled around the world twice in less then four years. I’ve seen many of the worlds wonders, but I want a place to finally call home.

During my tour, I had the luxury of a rack. Its a 6 by 3 feet bunk.

This is the inside of my rack. Its has small storage compartments. So I made sure no space was wasted. To the left, is my electronics. Xbox and a mini screen. But I didn’t have time to use it. sigh. To the right, is my uniforms folded in a way to utilized the space in my rack.

After a long and hard fought deployment, I was then reassigned into a holiday inn. The naval base didn’t have enough room to support a large body of sailors. So they had me checked into a hotel room for several months.

The man in this picture is Nah. My first room mate in the Navy. He left a few months later. Which was great because I had the whole room to myself for the next three months.

Then after a long wait, I received orders to move into the barracks. To my surprise, the barracks was a dream come true.

Everything was brand new. I called it home. I was in love. Unfortunately, I was sent to the war zone a few months later. Lucky for me, I survived the war. Kept my mind together until my enlistment ended in 2007.

I’m currently living in Washington State,  in a nice cozy apartment. I’ve finally found a place to call home.

我首次在雪乘公共汽車: My first time taking the bus in the snow.

Two days ago, I was faced with a difficult decision. Should I drive to work in the snow, or take the bus? As you guys will see, I took the bus. I’ve also did you guys the favor of documenting my adventure.

beginning-of-my-day-0800 This picture was taken in front of my apartment complex. As you can see, this is about a feet of snow. Still, I was determine to take the bus to work.

the-walk3

When I turned the corner, this is what I saw. The blue lines indicates the snowed and buried sidewalk. The snow was about two feet deep.

bus-stop

I made it to the bus stop, it took me about 20 minutes of walking. I think it would have been easier if I didn’t have to  hop over humps of snow.

cant-sitI was still determined. I stood at the bus stop for another 40 minutes.

me-with-winter-gearI know, you guys think I’m crazy! But I did come prepared for this adventure. Let me tell you. Just in case you find yourself in my position. This is what I wore. The Blue indicates a bag to store a set of converse shoes and a set of white socks. The light blue, indicates a winter gear jacket from Urban Outfitters. The red, which is important, well I think so. Is my handy dandy scarf. The yellow is my head warmer beanie. Ha, and of course my old and trusty Ipod.

my-bus And when my ears froze over to numbness, the bus finally appeared over the hill top. Oh, for beginners who are catching the bus in the snow, remember to bring an extra pair of socks. See below why.

my-shoes

15 minutes of a bumpy bus ride up and down a hill, I finally arrived at my destination. Tacoma mall. Where I call it “Deathtrap Mall.”

work1santa

(BTW, Its hit and run driver. I’m to lazy to redo this image above.)

To my surprise, Santa was with me all this time. As you can see the person in front of me is the real Santa. I’m not joking. Its really him! smile

This concludes my adventure. Remember, bring extra pairs of socks and shoes! also, wear winter gear, not just a jacket. It doesn’t help at all. Most importantly, a scarf! Oh, and an a fully charged Ipod.

Thank you all for reading my awesome adventure to work. Have a good day.
